Luang prabang is a destination that every traveler
has to see once in their lifetime. In 1995, Luang
prabang was voted by UNESCO as a World heritage
city.
DAY 2: Luang prabang city tour (B,L,D)

Visit the national
museum, former king's palace, Wat Xieng Thong (the
most beautiful temple in the city), Wat Visoun, the
site of the impressive That Makmo stupa.
Next, take a traditional boat trip upstream on the
Mekong river to visit the famous Pak ou caves (Tham
Ting) housing thousands of Buddha statues.
Visit Khouang Si watherfalls about 30KM south of
Luang prabang. Khouang Si waterfalls tumble over
multi-tiered limestone formations into cool, clear
pools ideal for swimming and relaxing.
Head back to town and visit Wat Phousi for a
splendid sunset. The tour will continue by visiting
the evening market.
DAY 3: Luang Prabang - Vang Vieng (B,L,D)

At 6:00AM, go for ALMS-GIVING.
Drive to Vang Vieng, about 150KM from Vientiane.
Vang Vieng is suited for those looking for quiet
place to relax amidst gorgeous surroundings. Take in
the natural attractions such as craggy mountains,
tubing on HE NAM XONG river and exploring beautiful
ataractic and stalagmite caves.
After noon, arrive Vang Vieng, visit Tham Chang cave
and local market.
Transfer to hotel and overnight.
DAY 4:
Vang Vieng - Vientiane Capital (B,L,D)

EN ROUTE TO
VIENTIANE CAPITAL.
Visit HAM PHRA KAEW, Once the royal temple of Lao
monarchy. Built in 1565, HAM PHRA KAEW has been used
as a museum since 1970 and contains some of the
finest Buddhist sculptures and artifacts in the
country.
Nearby is Wat Sisaket, The oldest original temple in
Vientiane. Built in 1818, Wat Sisaket is the sole
survivor of an invasion in 1828, go on to Wat
Simuong.
From Wat Simuong, you will take part in moving Phra
Sat Pheung to That Luang stupa. And visit That Luang
festival.
That Luang stupa is the famous Vientiane landmark.
This great sacred stupa, considered the national
symbol, was built in 1566 by King Setthathirat.
DAY 5:
That Luang Festival (B,L,D)

AT 6:00, Gather
with large crowds for an impressive ceremony of
prayers and ALMS-Giving. Then visit That Luang
festival.
Visit Patousay, One of the most photographed images
of Vientiane, constructed in 1958. Go on to the
Morning market.
After noon, assist to the traditional TI KI match
between officials and citizens.
DAY 6: Departure (B)
13/11/2008
After breakfast,
transfer to Wat Tay international airport for
departure.
